Get Involved
Community means everything to our students. An active community is an indication of a strong school. Every willing person has something to offer. Tell us how you'd like to get involved.
Schoola
PS 147 is partnering with Schoola (www.schoola.com). What’s Schoola? It’s a great way to raise funds for our school. Schoola collects preloved, children, teen and women’s clothes, preps and sells them online, and gives 40% of the proceeds back to PS 147 to help fund programs for our kids. That’s $2 out of every $5 earned back to our school! Simply click on the image to view our very own Schoola landing page where you can request a bag and view our progress and funds earned.
Committees
There are several active committees at PS 147 focused on specific initiatives. Committees work closely with the PTA and SLT to pursue common goals for the school, while maintaining an autonomy that allows for committees to work independently and quickly on specialized projects and activities. Below is a list of the current committees at PS 147 and their goals and projects. If you are interested in participating, please tell us how you'd like to get involved.
